Story

Established since 1994 Outback Rigging is a highly experienced provider of rigging solutions to the events, exhibition and corporate presentation markets across the entire UK.

Specialising in:

Outback Rigging offer a complete end-to-end service from project consultancy through to delivery, refurbishment and testing.

Our extensive and thorough training ensures that we deliver our services to the highest standards with health and safety being at the forefront of all that we do.


Outback Rigging owns a substantial stock of heavy duty and lightweight rigging equipment, several hundred electric chain hoists and approximately two kilometres of trussing to provide many rigging solutions. A large and properly maintained stock of rigging equipment is essential for the efficient performance of any contract. As a major rigging hire and installation company we operate a fast asset turnaround incorporating a full inspection process between goods in and goods out.

The company has developed internal control systems to ensure that rigging equipment is maintained, tested and certified, adopting HSE recommended best practise.

Maintenance engineers are trained to LEEA and CITB test and inspection standards and provide both internal and external certification facilities.

Outback Rigging is the exclusive rigging supplier at Olympia Exhibition Centre, The Business Design Centre and Alexandra Palace. Amongst many other blue chip clients the company has been vetted to work for HM Government and is a BBC approved supplier. Successfully rigged BRITs awards show for 25 consecutive years. Providing successful comprehensive apprenticeship scheme for over 20 years.
