Another Successful BRITs!
Outback Rigging have a history spanning over 15 years of working on the BRIT Awards and with millions of people in the UK tuning in to watch each year they are proud of their association with the show.
Conrad Ryan, Technical Director for Outback tells us: "This year was another hugely challenging set build that incorporated injection mapping throughout. We also provided performance automation for several acts including Stormzy, Rag & Bone Man, Rita Ora and Liam Payne. Another great success!"
Working closely with the shows designer Misty Buckley and the technical production team headed by Tony Wheeler, Outback's task is to knit together the requirements of Video (Ogle Hog) PA Brit Row, set (Steel Monkey) Brits TV band production (Maggie Mouzakitis) and deliver a show that hits the financial brief set by Papilo Productions (Kate Wright). Kate Wright explains, "this is a very complex production with many departments involved. Outback not only deliver on a technical level but are also able to work within the financial parameters which are set very early on in the production"
